Inside the €29 Market Kit

A market plan you can inspect.

Two products. One Saturday. Three possible days. This sample shows the numbers the kit produces before you commit to a table.

Illustrative sample output, using the kit’s default example. These are invented inputs, not a customer result or a prediction. The paid app lets you edit and save your own plans.

1. Start with what you make.

Saturday makers market · example product inputs
ProductPriceMaterials + packagingMaking timeStock
Ceramic mug€24€715 min60
Small planter€18€512 min40

Booth €120 + travel €35 + other costs €10. Allow 8 hours for the event and travel, value your time at €15/hour, and use a 2% effective payment fee. Expected sell-through: 50% of each product.

2. See what is left after your time.

Expected day · 50 items sold

Surplus after target pay

€290.90
Sales€1,080.00
Before your labour€583.40
Making + event time19.5 hours
Effective hourly earnings€29.92/h

€292.50 allocated to your time. Tax, depreciation and business overhead not entered above are excluded.

The expected day sells 30 mugs and 20 planters. Materials for sold items cost €310; payment fees cost €21.60; event costs are €165. The difference between sales and these costs is €583.40, before your labour.

3. Check the quieter day before booking.

Quiet · 30% sold€60.54After target pay · 30 items
Expected · 50% sold€290.90After target pay · 50 items
Busy · 70% sold€521.26After target pay · 70 items

These scenarios use 60%, 100% and 140% of your expected sell-through, capped at the stock available. They are assumptions you can question, not probabilities. A quiet day here leaves a much smaller buffer for unexpected costs.

4. Pack, then compare with what happened.

The sample packing plan contains 60 mugs and 40 planters, plus an essentials checklist. €620 is tied up in materials and packaging for all packed stock. This is a separate stock outlay, not another deduction from the earnings above.

In the kit, switch to actual-sales mode after the market and enter the quantities you sold. Save several events to compare their results before booking again. Export a backup to keep your plans.
